Being in business can take up so much of your time and never more so than in the silly season. I don’t know about you but I find many clients suddenly feel the need to get projects finished before Christmas or desperately need that quote in before they go away for a nice break. Leaving us the business owners feeling frazzled and hardly in the Christmas mood. But did you know that you could have had a little helper just like Santa.
One of the things I’ve learnt in business is that to enjoy what your doing and give your customers the best results you need to accept you can’t do everything. Having a fantastic team around me means I have even had the chance to take a week in the sun last week, Mind you the business is all in a great shape but my Christmas shopping has been a bit of a last minute affair, but panic not my local business owners have provided me with some great solutions and I love that they are benefiting too (even if it means they are now busy, opps).
Kick off those shoes and put your feet up
For those in businesses which have there busiest time ever over Christmas consider finding help to release you from the business once the festivities have passed, a time to recharge your batteries and congratulate yourself on a successful 2013.
Christmas wishes and New Year cheer
I hope that you and your family have a lovely Christmas and that you do get time to switch off your phone, leave the e-mails and not think about your business for a day or two at least. I always encourage my coaching clients to use Christmas as a time to enjoy the family, celebrate all successes, however small, from the year just passed.
That brings me on to the New Year, well no doubt you will be thinking about how to make 2014 even better, increasing your profits maybe or changing the balance in your business. My best advice to you all is to consider the work you do, can you get help with your work, can you change the way you work, because even Santa has helpers.
My Christmas gift
I want to offer a little Christmas gift. ?So, I have 5 of my one hour business tune up coaching sessions (valued at ?125) up for grabs. ?If you would like one just send me an e-mail to rebecca(at)rebeccajones(dot)biz. Saying what difficulties you are facing in your business and why you think I can help you. ?I’ll let the five chosen ones know over the festive period and we can book your sessions in for January over the phone or via Skype.
That’s me for this year folks
That’s all for now everyone, next year will see the return of my training sessions for women in business and even more on-line training than previously. ?Do keep in touch and have a great Christmas.
